There's some really interesting write-ups and photos about some great F&B branch projects from right around the country being put onto the F&B Facebook page, like this about Kapiti-Mana work restoring a bush riparian margin http://www.facebook.com/ForestandBird?ref=ts#!/album.php?aid=172500&id=137540437632 or this about a Golden Bay planting project http://www.facebook.com/ForestandBird?ref=ts#!/album.php?aid=172148&id=137540437632

It's really good being able to get to see some of the things other branches are doing.

Sorry about that, the links don't take you to the actual albums, but if you look at all the photos (on left-hand side of Facebook page click "See All") then they've captioned them so you can pick out the ones I'm talking about.

Since my earlier attempts to show these projects, I've learned how to show some of the photos here...These ones show before and after shots of the riparian planting done by Kapiti Mana F&B.

And the work by Golden Bay F&B - riparian planting in farmland with native plants. One of the really great things about this project is the co-operation of the farmers who fenced off wider areas from the stream than they are required - a huge commitment given the productivity of these areas to the farm - great to see some farmers getting good press for their contributions to work with F&B. Any other examples of farmers' contributions to conservation would be great to see here...
