The Department of Conservation is making yet more cuts to its budget - on top of the $54 million over four years it's already been forced to hack. Potentially scary I know, and we have an idea about this govt's track-record on things conservation. But let's be optimistic here, and hope that a review does focus on things like use unnecessary spending on mobiles and vehicles and not on core business especially biodiversity.

Big grin.
If people get angry, something you said must be touching a nerve!
Read again! You TOTALLY missed the point. They might be stopping unneccessary use of mobiles and vehicles rather than stopping saving biodiversity. If you're just anti what this govt is doing, then you're in the wrong forum.
