New President- Barry Wards
Good to see F&B in the news and good that Old Blues were awarded to deserving people. Well done. Congratulations Barry Ward (New President)and Craig Potton (Deputy President.
I'd like to also read from F&B's annual conference in the media about the key conservation issues facing New Zealand. Both Australia and the US have new reformist Governments that have put conservation and the environment centre stage of their new administrations. In NZ, our Government seems determined to go in the opposite direction.
Never was there a more important time for F&B to be out there challenging the farmers who it appears now dominate the new National Government Cabinet.
They want to dine out on our clean green image but avoid taking the necessary actions to maintain and uphold our environmentally aware credentials.
