Most high seas fishing States are falling far short of their international commitments to manage deep-sea fisheries in areas beyond national jurisdiction. The UN General Assembly is holding an open review where the Deep Sea Conservation Coalition will be directly addressing decision makers, urging them to protect the deep sea.
