Marine Scientist resigns under pressure to protect oil comany

    I think you should all see the attached letter of resignation of Professor Steiner from his post as a Professor in the University of Alaska.

    The letter is self explanatory and shows clearly how oil companies like Shell act when they have opponents like Rick Steiner - a well known and respected marine scientist.

    a very cogent example of the problems created by corporate influence and access to the science base of a society. I'll offer a virtual fiver to anyone that can name any NZ parallels.
