I don't like the way how she seems to be looking at short-term benefits all the time. I thought I heard the other day that there was another possible marine reserve site but she wants to wait and see if its viable for fishing first and she's planning on giving it 5 years. This seems to be a common thread for her - how much money can we rip out of our natural assets in the near future. Isn't this thinking straight from the industrial age, maybe we're more in the monetary age now. What about judging natural assets for what they offer over a lifetime and longer. This should be the first concern especially for a Conservation Minister. Maybe she has had words from the PM on how to run conservation.
