New Hoki & Orange Roughy Catch Limits

  1. The MoF wants to increase the catch limits of both Orange Roughy and Hoki - two fish that are listed as species to avoid in our Best Fish Guide.

    Submissions on the proposed limits close on August 4.

    i think John Key's (il)logic is to kill every last fish in the sea *before* they try and ram deep sea oil drilling into us. that way when it springs a leak, ala BP, he can assure we the people that yes no fish were killed in the oil drenching of our coasts and oceans ;-)
