The sun was shining like madness as the ferry started rocking. I said to myself that I wanted to go back to school. It took us an hour and a half to get to Tiritiri Matangi. The water was crystal clear. It was an amazing experience, we saw the cutest littlest penguins in the world. We got to stand on the front of the ferry and looked at the amazing creatures. Then we arrived at Tiritiri Matangi. We got off the ferry and onto the wharf. Mrs Kumar called out our group names and went with a lady who worked on Tiritiri. She showed me and my group around the bush we saw the most amazing birds I have ever seen. The Fantail was the best because the fantail put its tail up and we all said wow. We took photos of the birds in the forest. Then we had our lunch at 12 o’clock we saw Greg the greedy Takahe and all the other Takahe’s that were there. The Takahe’s were Greenish blue, they had beautiful feathers and we also saw a pukeko as well she had long legs and big feet. We decided to go down to Hobbs beach. The water was crystal clear and the sand was boiling hot. I saw one slippery slimy eel come out of some rocks and it swam away like it was frightend. I got really scared so I sprinted out of the water and quickly put on my shoes and sat on the logs. My heart was beating as fast as a running tiger. My legs were shaking and so was my hands.
